I guess I was influenced for my card, by this wonderful sight last week just across the road from our home, in the corn field. A hot air balloon decided to end its flight here so I got these great pics!
We have a festival every year in August that last two weeks, where hundreds of hotair ballons take flight twice a day! The site is about 20km from here, but the air currents seem to bring them our way, so we have quite a wonderful view of them. It is so much fun watching them all with all their beautiful colors and designs. Unfortunately you couldn't get me up in one of them! Petrified of heights! But it is so much fun, cause sometimes they just pass over the house and we can actually say Hello to them! That's how low they can come in here! Poor Pup- Loco is so afraid of them, he scurries into the bathroom and hides!

Connie... we have a the National Hot Air Balloon Museum about 10 minutes from our home in Indianola, IA. Every year we see hundreds of these beautiful balloons as well coming right over our house. Isn't it fabulous!
